Fundraising Principles

It is important for any charity to govern itself with Fundraising Principles, to give peace of mind to donors as well as the people that benefit from our services.

In giving to Arthritis New Zealand, you can be assured that your donation will only be used to support our services. If you wish to designate your gift for a particular purpose, we will respect your request.

Arthritis New Zealand is a member of the Fundraising Institute of New Zealand (FINZ), the professional body for fundraisers, charities and not-for-profits in New Zealand.

As members of the institute, we adhere to the standards outlined in the FINZ Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct. This means we are:

        Committed to high standards

        Honest and open

Clear about who we are, what we do and how your donation is used

Respectful of the privacy of our donors, clients and supporters

        Fair and reasonable

        Accountable

We also try to make sure that donations are acknowledged and receipts are sent in a timely manner.

If you would like to discuss our fundraising practices, call 0800 663 463 or email info@arthritis.org.nz
