Can you help us knit a little comfort?

Do you love to knit? Looking for a meaningful way to give back?

Project Knit Well is a simple and rewarding volunteering opportunity for anyone who loves to knit and wants to make a difference for people living with arthritis across New Zealand.

Our Project Knit Well shelves are looking a little bare, and we'd love your help.

Every year, generous knitters from around New Zealand create beautiful handmade items that we gift to people living with arthritis.

If you enjoy knitting and are looking for a meaningful way to give back, we’re currently seeking donations of fingerless gloves and slippers or warm socks for people living with arthritis.

For many people, arthritis can make everyday life challenging, especially during the colder months. A handmade gift offers more than warmth—it lets someone know they’re supported, cared for, and not alone.

Every pair of gloves, slippers or socks you knit is gifted to someone in our arthritis community who could use a little extra comfort.

If you’d like to be part of Project Knit Well, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact us on 0800 663 463 or email info@arthritis.org.nz to find out where to send your knitting.

Thank you for helping us bring warmth, comfort and kindness to people living with arthritis, one stitch at a time.
