Thank you for your interest in joining the National Arthritis Advocacy Network.
Over 860,000 New Zealanders live with arthritis, and together we can push for the timely diagnosis, treatment, and support they deserve.
What happens next?
We'll keep you informed about the Network's activities and opportunities to take action — including campaigns to encourage MPs and candidates to work
together on a cross-party alliance for better arthritis care.
What you can do right now:
- Write to the Minister of Health and members of the Health Select Committee — their details are below and a draft letter is here. Your personal
experience carries real weight and demonstrates the urgent need for change. - Copy us in at info@arthritis.org.nz so we can follow up on your behalf.
People wait too long to see a specialist, to get the right medication, and to access the allied health support they need — while they wait, their
arthritis deteriorates. We need a long-term plan for this long-term condition, and your involvement helps make that happen.
Thank you for standing with every person in New Zealand living with arthritis.
