What is the Arthritis New Zealand Annual Street Appeal?

The Arthritis New Zealand Annual Street Appeal is a week-long event usually held in September each year. Staff, volunteers and supporters of the charity take to the streets to shake buckets to try and raise funds to help improve the lives of people affected by arthritis.

When is the Arthritis New Zealand Annual Street Appeal?

The 2019 Arthritis New Zealand street appeal is taking place from 24 September to 30 September with the main collection day on Friday, 27 September.

Why does Arthritis New Zealand hold an Annual Street Appeal?

Other than raising much-needed funds from local communities, the Appeal Week is also about raising awareness about forms of arthritis, and the challenges that people living with arthritis face in New Zealand.
