Leanne joins Arthritis NZ’s Board of Trustees with over 15 years of experience across the health sector. Leanne originally worked as a physiotherapist before moving into a range of operational and policy roles in primary care and public health. Over recent years, she has worked on national programmes in the Ministry of Health and Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand, and is currently serving as Head of Programmes at General Practice New Zealand (GPNZ). Outside of work Leanne enjoys spending time with her husband and racing around with their two children.
Leanne is proud to be involved with an organisation that works to support the lives of those living with arthritis. She is passionate about driving meaningful change in the health sector and is excited to contribute to the organisation’s strategic objectives in Aotearoa’s evolving healthcare landscape.
