Community Development – Māori

We are looking for an exceptional Community Development practitioner to join our team located either in Wellington or Auckland.

This is an exciting role with a wide scope of work both regionally and nationally. We want someone with a passion of improving community health outcomes through working with a range of like-minded stakeholders.

The Community Development – Māori is responsible for the development and management of our Māori strategy and work plan for Māori living with gout and other forms of arthritis; ensure that Māori health and community service providers and Whanau Ora providers are supported in meeting the needs of Māori people living with arthritis.

We are looking for a person with at least 3 years of experience in community development, health education or related areas including significant work with Māori organisations and communities on a regional and national basis.

Excellent relationship management, coaching and group facilitation skills, fluency in Te Reo Māori is highly desirable as well as excellent written and communication skills.
