National Coordinator of Volunteer Engagement

Arthritis New Zealand has a clear strategy and direction for the valuable impact volunteers can bring to the organisation and have developed a challenging and ultimately a highly rewarding role.

The value of a volunteer base is unquestionably mission critical to the success of Arthritis New Zealand in delivering to those it represents.

The absolute core to this role is building on existing long-term relationships through ongoing engagement and communication. To be genuinely effective, you must develop/exhibit a real passion for the important role volunteers have in becoming champions for Arthritis New Zealand.

The person we need is simply outlined as:

  • A proven relationship manager, who delivers what they say they will and develops effective relationships between volunteers and all Arthritis New Zealand staff.
  • Experience in working with volunteers to reach organisational goals.
  • Have experience in the NFP environment and/or the empathy and passion to drive for the best possible outcomes for those with arthritis.

If this is you, we are looking to welcome you to the Philanthropy team in Wellington. Please contact: Dianne.armstrong@arthritis.org.nz  or phone 04 472 1450 for an information pack

Applications close 5pm, 6th June 2019.
