Super Gold Card

gold card

The SuperGold card is for New Zealand residents aged 65 or over, or people who qualify for New Zealand superannuation or a veteran’s pension. It replaces the Super Card and the Community Services Card (CSC). If you are eligible for CSC entitlements, the SuperGold Card will indicate that.

How do I get one?
Once your New Zealand Superannuation or Veteran’s Pension has been granted, the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) will automatically send your SuperGold Card in the mail. This usually only takes a few weeks.

Eating and Moving Well in Older Age

As we age, it becomes increasingly important to prioritize healthy lifestyle habits. By incorporating healthy eating and movement, many of the health issues associated with aging can be delayed or even reversed.

Older adults /Kaumatua may need to pay special attention to certain nutrients such as calcium and vitamin D to maintain bone health and have additional protein requirements compared to earlier adulthood.

Visit the New Zealand Nutrition Foundation for more detailed information.
