On 8 March 2019 a very successful charity golf tournament was held in Whangarei. Organised by Whangarei Lions, 24 teams competed including a team from Arthritis New Zealand. The two recipient charities were Arthritis New Zealand and Alzheimer’s and the day was a wonderful combination of raising funds for worthy causes and people enjoying the great day. Thank you to everyone that helped make this day enjoyable and successful.

When children have had JIA for a while, they might not be using their muscles properly, meaning the muscles become weaker, which causes extra aches and pains. Cycling, swimming and dance can not only help to keep muscles strong, but can also be done socially. #WorldWellbeingWeek

I often #travel with a #cane. Today, after I collapsed my cane to go through security, a @fly2ohare @TSA agent offered me a wooden cane to use on my way through the metal detector. This is the first time I've been offered that. #Thankyou! #disability

We’re very excited to launch our very first arthritis-friendly recipe video! Developed with you in mind, this one-pot chicken harissa dish is a crowd pleaser: easy to make with arthritis, and nutritiously balanced to help the symptoms too!
