Flexible Work Online Survey Print

The Department of Labour is conducting some important research into flexible working for people who have caring responsibilities. Carers NZ and the Department of Labour invite you to complete an online survey about this important issue. It will take about 5-8 minutes of your time.

All those who complete the survey will be entered into a draw for one of 10 $100 grocery vouchers!!

This survey is for people who care for anyone including children, ill, disabled, or elderly family members or friends ...or have an interest in employment, caring, and flexible work.

According to Census 2006, more than 80% of New Zealand's 420,000+ carers are of workforce age (15 to 65). During the 2007-08 Carers’ Strategy consultation, many carers talked about the challenges of remaining in paid employment, and their wish for greater flexibility to better manage work and care.

Completing this survey is an opportunity for carers, and organisations, to have their say about flexible work in New Zealand.

Winners will be notified by phone or email, and survey findings will be shared in an upcoming Carers NZ e-newsletter and in the Work Life Care! section of Family Care magazine.Carers NZ and the Department of Labour.
